They had a delicious menu with fresh cuisine, and we enjoyed great burgers and fries from the Grille on the patio overlooking the course on our golf days. The Clubhouse dining offered takeout (again due to pandemic). There is also a fitness center that wasn't open due to Governor's orders during the pandemic, but that should be temporary. When staying on the property, there is an indoor pool and hot tub, which we didn't use but was available. What a tranquil retreat! The resort also offers smaller villas that have beautiful views and are walking distance to the Clubhouse. We ended up staying in The Mills House, and it was excellent! Spacious, cozy, and spotless! 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, two sitting areas, a spacious kitchen, and two porches in a wooded setting. Although initially a little concerned about a change in plans into our trip, they were so courteous and reassuring of equivalent accommodations. En route, management called to explain there was an issue with that one, but they could relocate us to another. Initially, we reserved another cottage on the property that was overlooking the course. With a chronic illness in the home, we have to be really cautious due to COVID, so renting a mountain home on this beautiful property with a world-class golf course was ideal. For my birthday, my husband decided to surprise me with a last-minute trip to this lovely mountain getaway.
